Example: This is my student’s first year showing. We need help with training, feed, supplies, fair rules, routines, saving money, and finding buyers. My student wants to show a lamb or goat but we don’t know where to get one. We’ll be staying at the fairgrounds in a tent, jockey quarters, or RV. Which is best? My student is shy and has a slight stutter so he/she tends to be soft spoken. My student loves animals, is a very hard worker, and wants to be a veterinarian.

Example: This is my first year as a 4-H Leader. I have some experience with goat showmanship, but our members want to start showing chickens and rabbits. We don’t have housing or equipment yet, but we do have land available to build on. I’d like help planning lessons that cover building animal housing, training, identification, and creating supply lists for both practice and fair.
